3. Telehealth Services and Limitations
- Nature of Telehealth
You acknowledge that telehealth services are provided remotely through electronic communications. While telehealth offers convenience and accessibility, it has inherent limitations compared to in-person care.
 
- User Responsibilities
By participating in telehealth sessions, you agree to:
- Use a private, quiet, and secure location free from distractions
 
- Ensure a stable and reliable internet connection
 
- Provide accurate and complete information during consultations
 
- Follow treatment recommendations and care plans as prescribed
 
 
- Technical Issues
If technical difficulties interrupt a scheduled session, we will make reasonable efforts to:
- Resume the session by alternative means (e.g., telephone)
 
- Reschedule the appointment at the earliest convenience
You will not be charged for sessions that cannot be completed due to technical failures on our end.
 
 
4. Emergency Situations
Body & Mind Telehealth does not provide emergency or crisis intervention services.
If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, including but not limited to:
- Thoughts of harming yourself or others
 
- Severe mental health crisis
 
- Life-threatening medical condition
 
You must immediately:
- Call 911 for emergency assistance
 
- Call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) available 24/7
 
- Go to the nearest emergency department
 
Do not use our telehealth platform or email for emergency situations.
5. Appointments, Cancellations, and No-Shows
- Scheduling
Appointments must be scheduled in advance through our authorized booking system or by contacting our office directly.
 
- Cancellation Policy
- Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance
 
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a late cancellation fee
 
- Failure to attend a scheduled appointment ("no-show") may result in a full session fee
 
 
- Attendance
Consistent attendance is essential for effective treatment and continuity of care. Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may result in discharge from services.
 
6. Payment Terms

8. Professional Boundaries

The relationship between you and Body & Mind Telehealth is strictly professional and therapeutic in nature.
 
- Scope of Practice
Our providers do not offer:

- Disability or fitness-for-duty evaluations (unless specifically contracted)
 
- Immigration evaluations
 
- Court-ordered assessments (unless specifically contracted)
 
- Personal favors or documentation outside the scope of clinical care
 
 
9. User Conduct
You agree to:
- Treat all staff and providers with respect and courtesy
 
- Refrain from threatening, abusive, or inappropriate behavior
 
- Not record video or audio of sessions without prior written consent
 
- Not use our services for any unlawful purpose
 
We reserve the right to terminate services immediately if you engage in threatening, abusive, or inappropriate conduct.
